Can you tell me what oils you use?
We use premium quality fragrance oils, specifically designed for candle use. We use one supplier so that we can ensure that they are of the highest quality.
– All of our fragrance oils are Vegan, cruelty-free, CMR & Phthalate free and Paraben free.
Do I remove the crystal from my candle before lighting it?
Yes, please do remove the crystal/s in your candle before lighting. Leaving it in is at your own risk and we CAN NOT be held responsible for the outcome of leaving the crystal in while burning.
Where do you source your crystals from?
We use a few wholesale suppliers across the globe for our crystals including the ones in our candles, reed diffusers and wax melts. We have vetted each supplier we use to ensure that the crystals are mined ethically and sustainably and the whole supply chain is treated fairly & within workers’ rights. Although there isn’t currently any legislation to ensure this we do our own research before committing to a supplier. Although we call them our “suppliers” we work so closely with them that we would consider them good friends that we can trust.
Are your candles pet friendly?
As you may know, some ingredients can be toxic to animals when used on or around them. This is partly why we use fragrance oils as a safer alternative, as we have our own pets here at Aroma Quartz – our ‘CEO of customer smiles’ Bella, Cockapoo.
We use all of our home fragrance products around our own pets with no problems BUT, each animal/pet can react differently especially if they have any other underlying medical or respiratory issues. Therefore we would always recommend you to be cautious & we can not say that they are 100% safe for every pet. You know your pet/s better than we do & it is down to the discretion of each pet owner. If you have any concerns we advise you to speak with your vet.
What is your eco-friendly policy?
Sustainability and ethicality and eco-consciousness are at the heart of our brand.
Here are just a few things we do to ensure this:
- All of our packaging is either made with recycled/biodegradable materials or can be recycled by most local authorities.
- Our jars are re-usable and recyclable, we are soon to be launching our own recycling scheme for our jars!
- Our wicks are made from eco-cotton.
- We ONLY use Coconut wax which is biodegradable and has less of an impact on the environment!
- All of our fragrance oils are vegan and cruelty-free.
- When buying from our suppliers, we try to buy bulk where we can to reduce our carbon footprint.
Are you CLP compliant?
Yes! All of our in house home fragrance products are CLP compliant. (CLP is short for Classification, Labelling and Packaging Regulation which is part of our obligation to abide by the law. It is also part of our insurance requirements.)
What is your dispatch time?
We aim to dispatch your items within 2-5 working days, however in times of high demand such as Christmas this may be longer.
