Botanical Wax Melts — Common Questions
How long do botanical wax melts last?
Each disc gives around 16–20 hours of fragrance, depending on the strength of your warmer. A lower heat setting means a gentler, longer-lasting scent release. Once the fragrance fades, the wax won't evaporate — simply wait for it to cool, remove it, and pop in a fresh disc.
What's the difference between wax melts and candles?
Wax melts give a stronger, more immediate scent throw and let you switch fragrances whenever you like — no flame, no wick, no commitment to one scent all evening. Candles create a beautiful warm ambience that melts can't quite replicate. Plenty of our customers use both: melts for everyday fragrance and candles for slower, more intentional moments.
Can I mix different wax melt scents together?
Absolutely — that's exactly what the Pick & Mix format is for. Combining complementary scents (say, a soft floral with a warm base note) creates a layered fragrance that's entirely your own. Start with two discs and adjust from there.
Are your wax melts safe to use around pets?
Our fragrance oils are phthalate-free, paraben-free, and CMR-free, which is a strong foundation for pet safety. That said, cats and birds can be sensitive to certain fragrance compounds, so we always recommend using wax melts in well-ventilated spaces.
